Understanding the quality of repairs

When a maintenance project has started, you can still count on Repair Care’s support. With our quality check, our professionals do a visual check of the quality of work carried out.

Our Quality Check in 3 steps

To complete a Quality Check, Repair Care’s technical account manager goes through the following 3 steps:

1. Visual Assessment

Initially, we make a visual assessment of the repairs carried out. Due to the nature of the repairs, we can often spot issues that need to be rectified in this first step. If this is not possible we will collect core sample of the repair.

2. Core Sample Review

Through careful drilling, we remove part of the repair and inspect for any abnormalities. Once done we will reseal the boreholes professionally.

3. Laboratory Testing

If we can’t make a clear assessment visually, then the sample goes to our laboratory for microscopic examination. This ensures that any defects are revealed.
